Package: isoquery Version: 2.0-3 Severity: important Control: affects -1 www.debian.org X-Debbugs-CC: debian-www@lists.debian.org
The Debian website runs[1] isoquery to get a list of languages translated to each locale on the website. For the non-English languages it passes the -l parameter. Unfortunately, starting with Debian jessie isoquery -l prints a warning about g_setenv failing and this breaks the website wml. I was able to workaround this issue with 2>/dev/null but I would suggest fixing it in Debian unstable and Debian jessie[2] so that we can drop the workaround and so that the issue gets fixed for other folks who might be doing the same thing as Debian does with wml. $ isoquery -c -l fr (isoquery:2771): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_setenv: assertion 'value != NULL' failed 1. https://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/webwml/webwml/english/template/debian/countries.wml?view=co 2. https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.html#upload-stable -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (860, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (850, 'buildd-testing-proposed-updates'), (800, 'unstable'), (790, 'buildd-unstable'), (700, 'experimental'), (690, 'buildd-experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages isoquery depends on: ii libc6 2.19-18 ii libglib2.0-0 2.44.1-1 ii libisocodes1 1.2.1-1 Versions of packages isoquery recommends: ii iso-codes 3.57-1 isoquery suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
