And in French we use # ar_EG (Arabe – Égypte) If this fit, you could apply this simple following patch. By the way, I'm considering the use of iso-codes and isoquery to translate languages and country names, could a DD ask for adding those two packages on wolkenstein? My first local try are quite encouraging, so I'll continue digging on that.
