This list is for the website development, please ask in the user's support list [1] in future, anyway here are my comments: Prism needs a volunteer to package it in Debian [2], so that's the answer about why there's not a Prism Debian package. I don't understand your question about your freedom as user, so please read the Debian Social Contract [3] and the Debian Free Software Guidelines (DFSG) [4] and then reformulate your question. What you mean by a FSF OS? (maybe you want to read the GNU reasons [5] to not support Debian) For me Debian is the best distro, but in the case you understand "Best Distro == Prism included", maybe you want to collaborate making Debian the "Best Distro" packaging "Prism" ;-) If you decided to package it don't hesitate to ask in the mentors list [6].
