Agreed. Maybe it's better to keep the description and information in a
separate file (like it is done in the documentation information) and
generate the content.

I would prefer if, for historical reasons, the information of this
"dead" distributions was kept in a separate page or, to simplify
things, at the end of the children-distros page. This information is
still valuable for informational and historical purposes.
If we keep it in a separate page maybe it would be useful for both
ourselves and translators to have all the information in a separate
file and have a variable ('inactive') that makes the distribution get
removed from the main children-distros and move to the other page (or
section) automatically.

I think the link to distrowatch is really useful for all of the
different children distributions as it is useful for users to
determine what software is available in them.
