While you should expect your message to be public when posting to a public forum, as the disclaimer explains, it is worth noting that many Debian web pages state at the bottom: To report a problem with the web site, e-mail [email protected]. Apart from the "lists" in the domain name there is no indication that the message will be published on a public forum, it's just a mailto-link. The world is full of people who aren't familiar with this type of electronic mailing list.
