packages.debian.org displays the translation of descriptions provided by DDTP. These descriptions can be translated using the web interface at http://ddtp.debian.net/ddtss/index.cgi/ In order to : * get new users involved in translation * get more translated descriptions of packages * get free proofreading of Debian users => we may add a link from the package page to http://ddtp.debian.net/ddtss/index.cgi/$lang/translate/$package like "Help improving this translation". I am aware of the possible drawback (that we can observe on translations that came out of Rosetta) of such a link with translation opened to anonymous contributors..
