a) I thoroughly disagree with the proposal to use mediawiki for this purpose. The proposer should perhaps suggest some rationale, at least, but one argument against it is how difficult it would be to get the data out of mediawiki again.
b) if we did consider a software move in the future, I would want to put forward ikiwiki as a candidate.
