Debian was our final choice because of its low system requirements, stability, ease of usage and, last but not least, the price. It's a fine system to work with and fits our requirements in a serverenvironment very well. German description: Wir benutzen Debian Etch auf mehreren Hosts, mit Aufgaben wie zum Beispiel Fileserver (samba), Webserver (LAMP) und eMail (postfix, dovecot). Unsere Wahl ist letzten Endes auf Debian gefallen aufgrund seiner niedrigen Systemvoraussetzungen, der Stabilität, der einfachen Administration und auch aufgrund des Preises. Debian ist sehr schön handhabbar und erfüllt unsere Erwartungen an ein Serverbetriebssystem in jeder Hinsicht.
