Hi,
I would like to prepare i18n pages for the CDD tasks pages as you can
find for instance for Debian Med[1] or Debian Edu[2]. Currently these
pages are rendered using PHP gettext to render the language which is
set as preference in the browser, but this active content has some
drawbacks regarding performance and trigger content filters to scan
the incoming page which is very annoying. So it should be replaced
by static pages and the www.debian.org pages prove that you can get
i18n aware static pages - but I wonder how this is implemented. How
can I realise that a browser gets index_en.html per default or
index_${LANG}.html if this exists and the browser is configured to
prefer ${LANG}.
Any docs available?
