It looks like it's been a few weeks since anyone here discussed the
website design - but I'd like to throw my hat into the ring, if I may?

It's a greasemonkey script based on Gustavo Franco's Debian Monkeys
project[1]
It's main feature is to replace the existing static navbar with a
context-sensitive one with links from each page to where the user might
want to go next. In this way I'm attempting to address the site
navigation issue as well as the design issue.
Any comments are much appreciated
