The mirror [1]page states clear that the sponsor should overwrite theses files. 1.http://www.debian.org/mirrors/webmirror#sponsor That's strange, the above link talk about a sponsor.deb.html file that I couldn't found in the webwml repository. But if you access http://www.debian.org/sponsor.deb.html you get the following text before redirection: Visit the site sponsoring this mirror of the Debian web pages at http://<host>/<pages> Of course, I'm missing something, but what it is? I didn't found any good references about this searching on google (lists.debian.org). We could keep the above text and perhaps improve the instructions to mirror owners.
