I've been seeding the Sarge Source CD torrents for a few weeks now and everything seems pretty stable. Five or six of them have had people downloading from me this evening.
If I created and seeded Torrents for the Sarge Source DVD images, would you put these torrents up for public access, and/or let your tracker track them? The tracker in your other source CDs is "http://bttracker.acc.umu.se:6969/announce". It currently won't track some test DVD torrents that I made -- it only tracks torrents that it "knows about". Alternatively, you could create Torrents for these three source DVDs, let me know where they are, and I'll seed them. Then you can publish them at: http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/3.1_r0a/powerpc/bt-dvd/ http://www.debian.org/CD/torrent-cd/ The result: source DVDs will be available via BT from at least one site. And other people will be free to pile on and run their own seeds, merely by getting a copy and keeping their BT running. I've put up "trackerless" torrents for these three Source DVDs on http://www.toad.com/gnu/sysadmin/index.html?#sargedvd You can try them if you'd like, though I don't think Debian should publish them, since they only work with a few BT clients.
