Compile curl in PHP !

I'm a webmaster, and I need one program to search on files in diferent 
formats (html, pdf ..., PHPMySearch), for this, then I'm  installing the 
package Curl  in Debian, but  it reporter the error:

On your system must have Curl compiled in PHP! -> Please check 
www.php.net how you can do this.

Provider or your systemadministrator to change this.
