What is your relationship with http://www.aboutdebian.com web site
?
I found on that site a lot of practical information
to install/configure/use/understand Debian / Linux and their
componants.
I didn't found a reference to this site on
your. I think it would be great to have a link to it on your home page, or
on doc page.
I'm very new to Linux, and opt for Debian (instead
of Suse, Redhat) because of its "free culture".
I now have it installed, but still in character
mode (startx don't work, I guess I didn't configured the graphic card driver of
my laptop (IBM THINKPAD 600X) correctly (at all, I didn't saw my graphic card in
install process)).
