That sounds okay, but the users might still bitch if e.g. they don't find
the DSA-XXX-1 back in the old place.
I'd just make the report date tag an array (i.e. a comma-delimited list), BTW.
Also, make the _by_date feature a parameter to get_recent_list(), no need
for a whole new function...
