Yes, I noticed that already. I also tried to solve it but haven't had any luck with it. The documented procedure[1] didn't work for me: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/work/Debian/CVS/webwml/german/Pics$ make pics ../../english/Pics/debbar.pl -fontregistry iso8859 -fontencoding 1 -words "Über Debian" -o /home/alfie/work/Debian/CVS/webwml/german/Pics/about.de.gif 1041270703: accepted unix connection gimp: Font '-*-Arial-bold-r-*-*-42-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1' not found. ... uhm, which package do I need for that? :) > this is probably due to the very high capital U-umlaut. Might be, yes. Might be something different. I guess the script might have changed and only parts of the images got updated, or such. > here is a version that doesn't look that weird (imho) Unfortunately it has set a white background color instead of the one used by the pics. I'll take a closer look at it and look if I really can't find an arial font to do it my self like it's documented.
