Hi, I've seen these icons popping up on all the cool web pages. If your browser supports it (new mozilla and galeon do) take a look here:
http://people.debian.org/~dwhedon/icon.html Debian swirl in the toolbar. I think some browsers use the icon when creating bookmarks as well. IMO it would be nice if it ended up somewhere around the Debian web pages.
