Security updates which are really a re-issued old update (with new/proper fix) are not shown as new bug, thus may be overlooked. Example: [SECURITY] [DSA 079-2] was issued on Feb. 11 but is not shown on http://www.debian.org/security directly, but rather in the 2001-section where probably few people would look for a new/reissued security update.
