Hi! I translated this page recently and found some things that weren't really clear about some bits on it so I sent the file over to Joey to prooveread it. Although we both didn't manage to clear the mist around some of the things:
The Part about the Manifesto: The Debian design process is open to ensure that the system is of the highest quality and that it reflects the needs of the user community. -- "The Debian Linux Manifesto" a) What is meant with "The Debian design process"? Is it about design, or development, or what? I don't really get it..... b) Shouldn't that just be "The Debian Manifesto"? It's about Debian in general, not about just the Linux part of Debian, right? c) Is that Debian Manifesto somewhere available? I searched on /devel/ for it but couldn't find it. Maybe it should be linked from here. Then, later on: "the contact of last ressort" -- what's meant with this? Like in "if all strings fail..." or such? Thanks for clearing the mist in advance, Alfie -- <Alfie> Für Linux? mutt und sonst nichts. <jbf> mutt ist aber console und ich will eins das ich mit der maus bedienen kann und keinen nostalgischen wert bestitzt :) -- privater irc query, 2001-10-22
