www.debian.org has a favicon. qa.debian.org, db.debian.org and probably others do not (as far as I've been able to determine -- I only looked at those two). Since the favicon is shown in the tab in Mozilla's tabbed browsing mode, it is a lot easier to know which site a tab is from when you have lots of them if all have a favicon.
