I didn't mean to insult your intelligence. I just wanted to rule out the obvious. Could it be a misbehaving proxy? I've tried it[1] with my browser (Mozilla Win32), configured to accept English [en]. This grabbed the English page. I then tried again with it configured to try Spanish [es], then English [en] and it grabbed the Spanish version. I also tried it with lynx, and it grabbed the English version. You might also try grabbing the English[2] version directly to ensure that it is correct.
