Hi, If anyone is using rsync off va or master please upgrade to the 1.7.4 version. I have prepared a .deb of it based on Phillips work and it is available at
http://www.debian.org/~jgg/rsync_1.7.4-0.1_i386.deb The big reason to upgrade is for the reduced memory usage, Andrew has said approximately 10x on large archives.
