On June 8,2005 between 5 and 11 pm cst I began downloading the full CD
sets for 3.1r0a (sarge), from
http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/3.1_r0a/i386/iso-cd/. I managed to
DL all the binary images except for binarys 7 & 8. For these two I got
the message - "Not Found - The requested URL
/debian-31r0a-i386-binary-7(or 8).iso was not found on this server.". I
have a cable connection using Windows XP-sp2 and use IE6 as my browser.
I also tried other HTTP & FTP sites from the
"http://www.debian.org/CD/http-ftp/" web page but after navigating to
the iso-cd folder, I would find it empty!
Is this related to the fact that sarge was just released 1 day ago and
not all the mirror sites have the actual images? I still don't
understand why your primary cd image server allowed me to DL all but
these two binaries.
Please advise. Thanks
