Tags: patch

Hello,

I am reporting some problems with the RO translation of the Debian site:

consider -> to be "should be replaced with"

problems:
www.debian.org
   "Ştiri săptămînale" -> "Ştiri săptămânale"
   "Package-uri" "Pachete" (for first letter lowercase too)
   " e-mail săptămînal" -> " e-mail săptămânal"
   and last, but not least,
   "sistemul de exploatare universal" -> "sistemul de operare universal"

This last bit is the most ugly as it says "the universal exploiting sistem"

basically a script that does
s/sînt/sunt/ everywere and
s/(..*)î(.*.)/$1â$2/ should be sufficeint.

Thank you.

please cc me, I am not on the list

This decision is up to the Romanian translation coordinators. Since
they've decided to stick to the current orthography, this isn't a bug,
so it should be closed. If you can convince them to change their
mind, feel free to reopen or refile this bug. Please don't do so
otherwise, though.
