Just out of curiosity -- since that is actually pretty young, especially
(in my experience) for a woman to begin using Linux -- how were you
introduced to it?
My IT Teacher when I was taking my AVCE. In one 'module' you had to compare to operating systems, in most UK schools they just compare 2000 with XP etc, but we compared Corel Linux with Win2000, I was hooked and the school decided to put in a Linux Lab, of 20 computers for 6th formers to play with. After that I found the Mandriva Gaming Edition with The Sims, and installed it dual-boot on my family machine, and since then I haven't looked back :D
