As an involved mentor (in the list and along with Christine, on her packages), I have some kind of clue here: Working as AM in the NM process is perceived as a time-consuming task where the commitment is to be important enough to have a real effect. Mentoring seems to be a lighter task because this is only focusing on a few things, mostly what the mentee is expecting from her/his mentor. Up to now, for instance, this has not been a very time-consuming task for me. I also (but here this is purely personal opinion) keep this inside the d-w project because I have more interests and goals in d-w ("bringing more women to Debian") than the general NM process ("bringing more people to Debian") > Base: > > Amaya adopted the 'base' pseudopackage in the name of DW, so we need to Has this been made kind of "official", at least with a statement by Amaya? I remember myself suggesting this to her at the end of Anthony Towns talk, as well as talking of this with a few of you (Hanna for sure, maybe you also, Erinn), but nothing really "official" was made about this. I keep thinking this would be a good thing to do, but this was first Amaya's decision, so I imagine that her opinion is the driving force here. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
