Curently I am in germany and have only a Mandrake (as $USER) availlable.
Cant install anything... I was using "Totem" to play the video but it
popup me an errormessage that the server has denied the request.
Totem works for me, although it refuses to seek (I have to watch from
beginning till end). In case you don't have telnet, or don't feel
inclined to speak HTTP manually, could you try accessing the URL in a
web browser?
FYI: Mplayer and VLC will allow you to jump into the middle of the
video. You don't have to download the whole file in order to navigate
it.
