I'm sitting here at the CATS (Cascadia Anarchist Technical Skillshare) conference in Vancouver. In attendance are people from Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco. There are one or two Debian developers here; most of the demonstrations so far have been on Debian boxes. There are seventeen people here, four of whom are women. (In case it's not clear to some or all I am a man.) I've mentioned the D-W scene to a couple people who I thought would find it valuable. Actually I think I will take a minute to announce it to the whole group. Today I learned of a couple scenes that may be of interest to D-W: http://systerserver.net http://http://eclectictechcarnival.org and http://etc.genderchangers.org/ > There is supposed to be some sort of Los Angeles Debian gathering > (foodconf as it has apparently come to be called) in mid May. > Figured it would be good as many west coast North American to know > about it as possible. I wish I could go. Geordie. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
