Hi, Erinn, everyone!
| ...but I'm concerned. There's very little list discussion and I haven't | seen a lot of new faces showing up (though they do trickle in). Is there | something we should be doing to encourage more discussion? Does anyone have | any ideas?
Over the last few days (my own posts included!) I have certainly gotten the impression that debian-women seems to some people (me), like a safe place to ask questions that may result in RTFMing or flaming... but I don't think that in itself is bad.
Maybe one thing that holds people back from being involved is that mailing lists in general seem really unfriendly and scary.... or at least, asking questions results in being snarled at. If d-w is a safe haven for people that feel timid based on that sort of observation, well that's not bad, right?
Also, hi, I'm a new face :)
