Hi everyone,
Our next IRC meeting will be March 19th at 21:00 UTC. The topic is still up in the air, so if anyone has any suggestions or things they'd like to discuss, now is the time to recommend them.
We look forward to your input. :)
OK, looking back over old emails to the list for topics that were suggested but which we haven't yet discussed comes up with the following old suggestions:
- documentation in Debian and how to help fix the mess, or how to do something that would make Debian documentation cause less difficuly for people who are trying to learn things about Debian (not sure who originally suggested this one, though I have certainly written to the list about it before)
- problems of equal access to opportunity for women and men. Have the problems we encounter in most western countries already been solved in part by some of the eastern countries? If so, what can we learn from this? (originally suggested by Pia)
- What kind of software do women want/need? What do women want from Debian? I guess this comes down to something like "how can Debian reach out towards women better than it currently does?". (originally suggested by Simira)
Is anyone interested in any of these ideas? Or does anyone have new ideas for things we might discuss at the meeting on 19th March?
Helen
