Thanks to help from the Debian GIS team I have migrated my private subversion repository to git, for team maintainership. It's available at http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-grass/mapnik.git With that off my hands, I plan to take a back seat in mapnik and I'll be unsubscribing from -devel after posting this.
