I'd prefer to name the package trac-tags instead of trac-tags-plugin, by
analogy with the other
trac-{git,bzr,accountmanager,spamfilter,mercurial} packages.

This seems reasonable. I've asked to join the team now. I would prefer
to maintain the package using git-buildpackage. i hope that's ok with
the team.
I'm also (due to some conversation on #debian-python) wavering between
python-central and python-support; any advice about the packaging
choices would be welcome. My general preference is for dh7-style
minimized packaging where possible.
