Hello, I actually started packaging unrealircd a couple of days ago and the package is already in an early testing.
There were some issues related to this daemon discussed in ITP #377211. As mentioned there the license agreement is no longer an issue due to the removal of the pre-download agreement. But there is still the SSL vs GPL license incompatibility, so there will be no SSL support in this package, but I'm planning to include instructions how to include SSL support into the source package for everyone who is interested in building the package(s) himself. I discussed this issue with Upstream, but they are not interested in adding an exception to the license. The option to build 3rd party modules for the running IRCd will be included as a unrealircd-dev package.
