mind you, my Japanese is anything but good. But I visited the upstream homepage of Mr Aoyagi and took a look at what he has to say about the license himself. http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~kouzan/page012.html "いかなる条件もございません" -> no restrictions at all "本当に自由に掲載して頂いて結構です" -> you are absolutely free to make public "１００％自由に問題なく使っていただけます。問い合わせも必要ありません。" -> 100% free to use. There is no need for inquiries. The whole text gave me the impression of "public domain", do with it as you please. Since the font is indeed nice, I'd like to give it a shot at packaging it. I'd appreciate some kind of mentorship, though, since it would be my first font to package.
