netscape.jar was in the old netscape* packages in woody: http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2005/03/13/debian/pool/non-free/n/netscape4.77/ And as you can see, it was a non-free package. PS: I have access to the Jmol VCS. If you want me to incorporate changes to the build system, which are AFAIK necessary, I can do this. Egon Willighagen probably can help too coordinating the necessary changes with upstream.
