Since both of you e-mailed at roughly the same time about taking over the Debian SCons packages I thought the best thing to do would be to put you both in touch with each other and suggest forming a team to take over the package in order to pool the availible expertise - I don't know what you guys think about that?
I feel I should do some sort of introduction so I guess I would say that Brandon is active with SCons upstream while Luca does a lot of work with Ubuntu. Luca has prepared an upload of 0.98.3 which I'll be uploading shortly, but leaving myself set as the maintainer for the time being. Since neither of you is a DD I'd be happy to sponsor uploads no matter what the decision about forming a team or not is.
