Hi,
this sounds promissing. I will wait for the integration of my patches
anyway so we will have a free volpack libary.
Kind regards
Andreas.

Andreas,
The new license is now on the Stanford graphics lab website:
http://graphics.stanford.edu/software/bsd-license.html
I will change the license distributed with the library to the new one when I
put the new version on the server. I will be traveling this coming week, so
I'll do it the first week of Sept.
Thanks for the effort you put into the updates!
Phil

Marc might have already contacted you (let me know if not). He is
comfortable with changing the license but would prefer a BSD-style license
rather then one of the GNU licenses. Hopefully that should meet the needs
of the Debian community.
BSD license is also fine - we just need it written down anywhere.
Kind regards and thanks for considering this
Andreas.
