Well, 0.10 is old and has a few known bugs, but we should have 0.11 out this summer, so that's fine by me.
What I could think of was to have the latest released version in debian/unstable, and if necessary a later development version in experimental, if you think this would help.

Yes with RPM, no with .deb. I wouldn't be comfortable yet, but I could learn.
