I made a tarball of my work from last year on packaging Open Watcom. I doubt I will ever work on it further. It contains a control file, a rules file (I don't know how well it works), and a TODO file. The rules and TODO files contain useful tips for anyone who ever wants to package OW.
The tarball is an attachment on the following webpage: http://bugzilla.openwatcom.org/show_bug.cgi?id=705 As I mentioned earlier in this ITP, Open Watcom requires various environment variables to be set before use, which goes against Debian policy. I filed 3 bugs today against Open Watcom requesting that this be fixed for wcc, wcc386, wccaxp, wpp, wpp386, wppaxp, and wlink. I bet more than just those 7 tools need to be fixed, but they are the most important of the Watcom tools. The relevant bugs are: http://bugzilla.openwatcom.org/show_bug.cgi?id=706 - for wcc, wcc386, wccaxp http://bugzilla.openwatcom.org/show_bug.cgi?id=707 - for wpp, wpp386, and wppaxp http://bugzilla.openwatcom.org/show_bug.cgi?id=708 - for wlink -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
