Package: wnpp

I now prefer the kernel-resident ondemand governor, and no longer use
powernowd myself. It would be great if someone who actually uses the
package would take over as maintainer of it.

Upstream has been very responsive and easy to work with. None of the
open bugs are particularly hideous. Contributing to the discussion Per
Olofsson has initiated around how cpufreq-detect should be implemented
in Debian would be a good thing for the new maintainer to do. My thoughts
on this topic are mostly captured in the bug log for #367307.
