Hi Decklin, are you still interested in packaging Picard? I've dropped the dependency on libtunepimp 0.5 in Picard 0.7.1 (will be releases this week), which means that all the required dependencies (libtunepimp 0.4, python-musicbrainz2) are already in Debian.
I have a 0.7.0 package at http://users.musicbrainz.org/~luks/ubuntu2/dists/sid/main/source/. It will surely need some cleanup, but could be a good starting point.
