Package: wnpp Severity: normal I don't actually use GTimer myself any more, so while I'm happy to continue doing basic maintenance (the package isn't very much work, although see below about oustanding bugs) and I wouldn't want to see it removed from the archive, I'm happy to hand the package over to someone who actually uses it and/or would like to do development on it to solve the three outstanding bugs.
Note that GTimer is currently still a GTK 1.x application and should really be ported to GTK 2.x. The upstream maintainer replies to e-mail but hasn't released a new version in quite a while and isn't really actively doing development. The package description is: A graphical program that tracks how your time is spent. Maintains a simple list of tasks, each of which can belong to a project, and allows you to track time in each. Multiple clocks can run simultaneously, annotations can be added to a day's time, and reports can be generated in either HTML or text. If GTimer detects that you're idle, you are given the option of subtracting off the time you spent idle when you return. . Compared to other time tracking applications, GTimer is graphical without depending on a desktop environment and aims for simplicity rather than attempting to be a full-fledged project tracking and billing application. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
