^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Hmm, not exactly. You did an interesting suggestion but, definitely this is up to the package maintainer to decide this. I'm currently very careful about the font package team (which still has to organize itself but I can't do everything people...:-))) not appearing has stealing all activities about font work.
