That package is a bit more complicate that I expected, since upstream doesn't provide suitable build targets for shared libraries (and no soname for them). Allthough I think I basically understood how that works, it's far beyond my knowledge to take care of that myself, so the help of someone more familiar with librarie packaging, who could explain upstream what to do (I fear, he's mainly a windows developer), would be welcome.
