For future reference: mainline GAIM 2.x is supposed to be including the gaim-vv code, so the gaim-vv package is no longer necessary.

I would like to clarify that gaim-vv isn't completely dead, we're working on merging with gaim. There will be no further gaim-vv releases, as code will be added to the main gaim program.
