Rob -- Hello. I just thought I'd drop you a quick note to let you know how I'm progressing with psutils. I have now gone through all the bugs. Most are unreproducible or lack critical information. In those cases, I've requested followups from the posters. A few problems are fixable. I've also made contact with the upstream author. Over the next few weeks, I'll try to wrap things up and do a new upload that closes any of the bugs I can close. The upstream author said he would release a version 1.18 if I sent him patches to fix bugs in the debian bug tracking system.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you (and anyone else following bug 329425) that, although my progress has been slow, I'm still working on this and shouldn't be too far from actually adopting the package. I started a new job last week, so my time is a little tighter, and I wanted to take care of my other packages first.
