There is one reported bug (#269457, with patch) and one wishlist item (#234882). It is likely that other bugs exist that haven't been reported. The best solution (as suggested in bug #269457) might be to switch to the FreeBSD source code or some other source code. Once this is done, I expect this package to be a very low maintance package. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) --------------------------------------- Received: (at 285267-close) by bugs.debian.org; 4 Sep 2005 18:15:46 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Sep 04 11:15:46 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from katie by spohr.debian.org with local (Exim 3.36 1 (Debian)) id 1EByog-0004pf-00; Sun, 04 Sep 2005 11:02:06 -0700 From: Matthijs Mohlmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.56 $ Subject: Bug#285267: fixed in libpam-heimdal 1.0-18 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, 04 Sep 2005 11:02:06 -0700 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-CrossAssassin-Score: 2 Source: libpam-heimdal Source-Version: 1.0-18 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of libpam-heimdal, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: libpam-heimdal_1.0-18.diff.gz to pool/main/libp/libpam-heimdal/libpam-heimdal_1.0-18.diff.gz libpam-heimdal_1.0-18.dsc to pool/main/libp/libpam-heimdal/libpam-heimdal_1.0-18.dsc libpam-heimdal_1.0-18_i386.deb to pool/main/libp/libpam-heimdal/libpam-heimdal_1.0-18_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
