DidiWiki has the following advantages over the other wikis in the Debian archive: * Written in C so *very* fast. * Very low system requirements, tiny on disk size (~20k stripped). This makes it particularly useful for handhelds etc. * No dependencies, entirely self contained. No need for apache, scripting languages, databases be installed. * DidiWiki is recommended as a personal wiki (for notes, todo lists etc.) *not* for running publically (or as root). In summary, DidiWiki is aimed at those who need a quick, very lightweight wiki for personal notes etc. without wanting to install Apache, PHP, MySQL and suchlike. I don't believe there is another wiki in the Debian archive that satisfies these requirements. -- hanna m. wallach blog: http://join-the-dots.org/ work: http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/hmw26/
