Has there been any progress on this? I'm interested in helping out or taking over if there is no longer interest, or even forming a team. (I founded the logcheck team.)
Nelson: Out of curiousity, are you able to resolve you own hostname? Also,
which release of Python are you running? On i386?
It works fine for me on Python 2.3.4 (#2, Sep 24 2004, 08:39:09) /i386
