According to the author's page it's taken from: http://www.geocities.com/thestarman3/asm/mbr/MBR_in_detail.htm > I'd also like to point out that the boot block source code is not > included, certainly making this package non-DFSG-free, and probably > making it undistributable by us under the GPL. Boot blocks are included as a series of properly ordered bytes, so yes... seems that it's not DFSG free. Don't know however if it makes it totally undistributable. Author chose GPL and it's his decision. You can always change those boot blocks by changing bytes listings. Anyway... if it's impossible to put it in non-free then I'm going to close that bugreport. regards fEnIo -- _ Bartosz Fenski | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] | pgp:0x13fefc40 | IRC:fEnIo _|_|_ 32-050 Skawina - Glowackiego 3/15 - w. malopolskie - Polska (0 0) phone:+48602383548 | Slackware - the weakest link ooO--(_)--Ooo http://skawina.eu.org | JID:[EMAIL PROTECTED] | RLU:172001
